In the Beginning...

What are your dreams? What do you want to do with your life? Where do you see yourself in five years? As you get older, you realize that these questions will continue to plague you. Having to carve out a life path for yourself at a young age can seem impossible at times and may have unintended consequences. While you're studying in school, how do you know that the subjects you pick will lead to a job in that particular field? Once you're done with school and job-hunting, you cannot imagine what that job will truly entail unless you get hired and start the job. And after you've started working, are you really happy? Does this satisfy you? Are you automatically content with your life now? If the answer is no, I empathize. Job satisfiaction mixed with life satisfaction has always alluded me. One dream job I've always had was to be a writer. I envy the careers of multiple authors, not only for their talent for the written word but the concepts they weave into genius plots. I know I can't hold a candle to them (not going to name names here) but I do enjoy putting thoughts to paper. Or in this case, to a blog. Here are my thoughts.
